As our Kazakhstan Expedition has been delayed to concentrate on our Vladivostock 2011 Expedition (which will probably include Kazakhstan), we've decided to undertake an aid trip (Aidventure Romania 2010) to orphanages this year.

I'm currently looking for two additional crew members as co-drivers and/or navigators to assist at the orphanages, help with fuel and travel costs, etc (funds can be raised by sponsorship, pub quizzes, etc, etc as we'll be working with registered charities in Romania). We'll be towing a caravan to a charity in Romania, so we'll have a cooker and toilet accompanying us on the way there. We'll probably camp on the way back, as it should be warmer by then (in theory!).

If you want to come along in your own vehicle, as the road conditions in Romania are not that good (even worse than the UK!!!), you're better off using a 4x4. Email me if interested. If you can acquire and tow another donated servicable caravan,
even the better!

Further to our request for a towbar for our Surf, we have now aquired one. It's a quality Witter towbar and I've now collected. If anyone wants to assist in fitting and wiring it up - email or txt me on 07855 462591.
